Kite flying

Papa Clay came over tonight to eat some of dads ribs and visit for a while. Man, those ribs were awesome!!

After dinner the kids managed to drag us outside for some kite flying. After all it was windy from the storm blowing into Harrisonville with all that hail and all so Papa did not want to have to drive back there any time soon.

The kids talked him into flying their kites. Man what fun!! The wind was not the best but everyone enjoyed it for sure!!

Papa is trying to explain to Lucas that one does not need to leg out your entire line of string at once.

Hey maybe he does know what he is talking about.

Addi worked with daddy to get her Mickey Mouse inflatable kite up. Yeah, it inflates. We went with it. Addi loved the 3D effect.

It did not take long for Addi to get tied up in her line. She decided sitting and watching was just as much fun.
