Addi had a soccer game early afternoon so we headed to the farm immediately after. Grandma Jan was nice enough to plan an egg hunt for everyone. Ah, the famous egg hunt. Nothing is as one would assume at the farm. An egg hunt is not just an egg hunt.
To start off Grandma Jan took everyone on a long walk to find where the eggs were hidden. Even us stupid parents fell for this one. We walk and walk and bam, the eggs are exactly where they are every year.

I just love how the big kids don't think twice about letting a little person in front of them. Heaven forbid someone else get an egg.

Addi thought she better team up with a big person to try and get some eggs. Grandma Jan is more thoughtful then that. The big kids only get 11 eggs and the little ones get 12. You have to stop when you get your limit. hahaha!
Look at these cuties. Listening so well to directions and teaming up together. Grant is such a gentleman.

Yeah, here are the rest of us standing around. Hoping there are some money filled eggs for us. No luck again this year.

yes, you are correct. That is Jeremy "helping" Addi Jo out. Too bad she does not even get to carry her own bucket.

Luke is going to give Hunter a couple of clues but after that he is on his own.

Apparently if you race you can run over about 25 eggs without ever seeing one of them.

Look at this cutie!

After the egg hunt you get to empty your eggs with money or candy in them and stand in line to turn in your empty eggs. This is the best egg hunt I have ever seen!! Your eggs can get you clothes, sunglasses, more candy, art supplies, games or puzzles. Amazing the value of an egg!!

Here is Addi getting a coloring book. She was so happy. I did not get many pictures after this because the kids kept bringing me their loot to hold and my arms were overflowing!
HAPPY EASTER!!
