Bowling

We took the kids bowling on Sunday for a family get away. Originally we planned on going to a local St. Pat's parade but it was cold, windy and drizzly so scratch that. Off to the bowling ally it was!!

Everyone loved it. This was really Addi's first time bowling and entire game.
After a few turns Luke was upset his sister was doing better so he made a sneaky trip to the counter to ask for bumpers for himself. He was very pleased with his score after that!

For Addi it is more about ball color the ball weight that matters.

Such joy every single time!
I thought it would be nice to get a picture of Jeremy bowling to show Luke how to hold the ball. To my camera delight Jeremy slipped and fell on his side when he went to bowl the very first time. I never thought I would of gotten this on the camera but I have to share because I just about fell out of my chair laughing when he did it. Thankfully he was okay so we were off to great fun from then on.

Soccer time

Addi started soccer this week. She has asked all winter to play soccer. The time has finally come to start. This is her first team sport activity and she loves it!

I always worry a bit about Addi being a part of the team. Leading the team is never a worry but just being a part of team is something we have thought a lot about. She did great at her first practice. She only corrected the coach once during practice.
She starts playing games in April so more pictures to come!

Spring is near

Spring is almost here, despite what the daily forecast says. This year has seem like the winter that will not end.
A couple of weeks ago I decided we would do a little sping project and plant some flowers. I let Addi pick out the packet of flowers so we are goin to have some very colorful flowers in a few weeks.
I read about the project a month or so ago and it was perfect for us because I save all the egg shells anyway for fertalizer so we got some dirt and seeds and off we went.
They did a great job working together on the project and there really was not much mess!!
I am happy to report that we already have some stems popping up!!
