Garage Sale

This weekend we decided to have a garage sale with our neighbor. I have to say the effort was worth the payout. I was completely surprised by how fast things flew out of here. We only had one random rain storm go through. It stopped as soon as I was able to drag everything into the garage. I was amazed by the people that came seconds after the rain had passed and looked at us oddly because we had everything randomly thrown into the garage. I am sure we missed a few sales there but oh well. I will keep my junk for another. Oops I mean extremely well priced gently used items for another day.

This is what we started with (there were tables inside the garage also) by the end of the day we only had what was in the garage!!! Lucas was so excited to see how much money he made. It was actually pretty cute to see his delima between saving his money and thinking about what he would like to spend it on.

Addi was very helpful. She made sure every item was nice and clean for viewing.

This would be the only down side to Addi participating in the garage sale. This look. Can you see it? She was really upset when people tried to by her shoes and when we were not busy she would look around at the tables and flip out when she found something that she had some sort of attachment to. She immediately put it on her body or into a sack and claimed it as hers for forever. Fur-ver mom were her exact words. Thankfully it is still easy to distract a two year old to get every thing back out there with a new sticker.
