Horseback riding

On Monday night we were finally able to go to one of Taralyn's horseback riding lessons. It was a great time for all. She is turning into quiet the rider. I was impressed at how well she listed to her instructor. It is very hard for Aunt Beth to imagine that she is old enough to control a horse around the ring when it seems like just yesterday I was trying to get her to eat her lunch so she could lay down for a nap. Man are those days behind her now.

While we were watching Addi and Hunter made friends with one of the many cats. This is One Eyed Jack. I opted to get him from behind as being a one eyed cat does not give him the most friendly look. I wish I would have gotten a couple of him with the kids. They came running at him and then to a screeching halt to pet him. He sat there for the longest time and let them run and attack, oh I mean pet. I think I owe him some cat treats!

Now to address your wonder as to why we went to a riding lesson on Monday and I did not put pictures up until Friday. Getting pictures off of ones phone is not nearly as easy as it is to get them off of ones camera. I was totally bummed I forgot my camera Monday but we were already running late so I did not go back. I opted for my camera phone. I have taken several pictures on the phone but that is where they have stayed since Christmas. On the phone. If someone wants to see a quick pick of the kids I whip out my phone. Now the time came to get them off the phone. Man oh man was that time consuming. I am no pro still but the pictures from my phone are safely stored on a flash drive. Now back to work.
