The knee

In April Jeremy was playing in a spring softball league and living it. His team was not half bad either. I received a phone call just after crawling into bed one Thursday night. Jeremy hurt his knee during the game. At least it was in grand fashion.
Jeremy was pitching and ran up to guard home. The runner came barreling in like it was an MLB game and took him out at the knees. His right knee buckled and went up to his shoulder.
Jeremy tried to ice it and make it through the second game of a doubleheader. He could not so they headed for the hospital and called me.
I called my mom to retrieve his truck and the kids and I went to hospital after taking her to the truck. It was a long night but nothing was broken.
He got an MRI the next day and the following weekend he saw the surgeon. He had a torn MCL that will heal over the course of the year and a meniscus that required surgery. He has recovered from the surgery and it looks great!


This knee was so gross looking!
