Baseball thoughts

First year kid pitch baseball can be painful at times, it can also be a great learning experience for those playing and watching the game.

Some thoughts from the season so far;

  • do not offer to take over for the score keeper if she does not have a book for you. I tried to cover for Jill but no scorekeepers book. We tried to make one up on the fly but in the first inning alone we ended up an entire run off.

  • Forget about eating dinner when the sun is up. Be thankful that concession stand is always open in case you don't even have time to grab some snacks.

  • Cheering for your kid to hit the ball can be said in so many other ways then be a swinger. Yep, that was me.

  • It will be cold at the beginning of baseball season, a jacket is needed every night

  • It was rain. If you hope for it to rain a game out there is no way in hell that will happen. If you are close to game time or score it will downpour.

  • It will be far more fun to watch em have a great inning then you could think.

  • It will be far more painful to watch em make a bad play or fall apart out then you can stomach at time

  • Baseball really is America's past time

  • We play with some great families!
